When I was a kid my family was riding down the highway on our way to go camping in the tow low my dad saw a VW bug on the side of the road. My dad knew the man was in trouble from an accident. Upon moving to Tennessee Tod and Paula became a big part of our lives. Tod was always helping us work on projects ( hanging cabinets in the garage for one) Tod would recall great memories of life in Michigan and Fla He could take a road trip to Fla with furniture and bring some back living in two houses. We had fun playing dice and cards on many occasions which we will miss dearly. Tod had an easy going manner and dry sense of humor which entertained us just sitting on the porch or bbq-ing in the driveway. Tod was good to have as a friend

Oh my gosh ya all listed a few cars my dad had (he used to take me to old car shows-so fun) BUT the CORVETTE!! MY MOM (PAULA) AND I GAVE HIM SO MUCH SH** OVER THAT CAR!! We would say " what are you having a mid-life crisis?" LOL

I was maybe 10 yrs old and we were at Cedar Point Amusement Park on a "boat safari' . The cruise narrator made a joke and MY DAD was the only one that laughed out loud and very loud. And the narrator said "AHHH SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO READ BETWEEN THE LINES". I WAS SO PROUD! MY DAD IS THE MOST HONEST AND BEAUTIFUL SOUL THAT EVER WALKED THIS EARTH AND ANYONE THAT KNOWS HIM WOULD TOTALLY AGREE. I know you've safely arrived in Heaven Daddy and I can't wait to see you again. 🩵🩵🩵I remember when I was a baby and you came home from work you ALWAYS came straight to me and got me to laugh. If people were more like you it would be a perfect world.
