Robert Wayne Evilsizer's Obituary
Robert (Bob) Wayne Evilsizer, 77, of Brooksville, FL, passed from mortal life into eternal life on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Sturgill Hospice Center in Brooksville.
Bob was born Nov. 15, 1947, in Christopher, IL. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, former coal miner, and an over-the-road truck driver for Winn-Dixie Grocery Co.
At one time Bob was a league bowler, a good horseshoe player, a willing neighbor who was eager to help others when they had a need.
Bob once said, “I’m retired but I get asked to work a lot of jobs. The problem is, I don’t make any money at it.” He also enjoyed sharing and hearing life stories with anyone who wanted conversation.
Robert is survived by: Lorraine (Pinto) Evilsizer of Brooksville, his wife of 58 years; two sisters Judy Patterson of Kannapolis, NC, and Brenda (Tom) Monti of Coello, IL; two step-brothers, Robert (Debra) Pinto of Allentown, PA, and Jules Pinto of York PA; and many friends and neighbors in High Point Senior Community in Brooksville.
Bob was preceded in death by his father and mother, George L. and Edna J. Evilsizer.
An informal celebration of life will take place Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 1pm to 3pm at High Point Community.
Grace Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home is honored to assist Bob’s family with his final arrangements.
