Bob was always ready to help a neighbor, even though he did not have much energy last fall due to health issues. Bob was determined to help the Jones' who were traveling back to Florida as snowbirds. He wanted to make sure that their hurricane awning was back up so they could use the back door. Bob was struggling to raise it by himself. I noticed and went over to help Bob hold the other end of the awning. When we each lifted the awning up into position over our shoulders, both our pants dropped down to our knees. Bob and I later agreed. It was a good thing that the backyard neighbor, who was sunbathing at the time, must have had her eyes closed because she missed seeing two old guys lose their pants.
