Natalie Melucci's Obituary
Natalie Melucci, 88, of Spring Hill, FL passed away December 30, 2017. A native of Bronx, NY she came to the area in 1992. She was the oldest of six siblings that she helped raise from a young age and continued to care for and worry about for her entire life. She continued this tradition of caregiving with her extended family and even strangers. While her life was difficult at times, she cherished pleasant memories through photographs, childhood artwork, letters, and greeting cards from her children, grandchildren, and extended family, that she saved and treasured.
She was a homemaker who kept the house so clean everyone referred to it as a museum. She loved to cook for friends and family and was well-known for her Christmas Eve dinner parties. She never missed an opportunity to go out to a restaurant, too.
Natalie enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. She converted to Catholicism and became a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in the early 2000s, the fulfilment of a lifelong dream.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore and daughter, Danielle. Survivors include her 2 daughters Connie and husband Shawn and Sharon and husband Armando; 2 brothers, Lenny and Conrad; 7 grandchildren, Alicia, Samantha, Michael, Justin, Blake, Hanna and Logan; 2 great-grandchildren, Salvatore and Elliott. Flowers will be accepted, however those who wish may donate to the Alzheimer’s Association https://act.alz.org/site/Donation in memory of Mrs. Melucci.
