My mom was the essential caregiver. She gave from her heart. When I had my daughters she was there even if she had to travel. She gave both of them their first bath and taught me how to take care of them. She let me sleep when they cried and nothing would stop them. She took care of them when I worked. I couldn’t ask for more!
I remember my sister Natalie would give me 10 cents a day to walk her dog, i don't remember the dogs name but i supposed to walk the dog downstairs but instead i walked upstairs to the roof where the dog proceeded to do it business. It was payday every two weeks; i saved up $8.00 and Nat asked me what did i want to do with the money, she said mother's day is coming up so I said buy Momma some house dresses. I remember visiting Aunt Nat and Uncle Sal in PA it was a real cold day and we arrived late that evening we were talking and laughing and heard a noise outside. I was ready to walk outside when Aunt Nat yelled don't go outside it's the bears~! Bears I said really are you joking? Aunt Nat laughed and said no they come up to our house and open up the garbage cans looking for food.....why aren't they sleeping; oh hell no i said how are we going to leave??? We laughed so hard that I cried, we left when the noise was gone and i never ran so fast to get into the car, thanks for the laughs Aunt Nat you will be missed, love your niece Debra Ann
