Mary Ann Berger's Obituary
Mary Ann Berger, 84, of New Port Richey, FL passed away peacefully on Saturday November 23, 2019. Mary was born in Brooklyn, New York to Nicholas and Susanna Lorenz on January 3rd, 1935. She was employed as a Legal Secretary for the medical field for many years. She was a Catholic by Faith.
As friends and family members noted, she was a kind, sweet woman able to make others feel supported and loved. Around the holidays, her apricot crescents were a staple, as she'd fly to see relatives always ensuring that her bags were filled with everyone's favorite treats. Her love for animals, especially her dogs Oscar & Scooter, was passed down to her children and grandson. She spent many of her days with her beloved quilting circle, making blankets and aprons, for family and community folks. Moving into a new apartment or painting a room meant a call from Grandma asking for the color scheme so she could make a quilt for the room.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Berger. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia; son John and daughter-in-law Laurie, 2 grandchildren Mackenzie and Ethan.
A Visitation will be held at 4 pm-7 pm on Tuesday November 26th, 2019 at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, 16931 U.S. Hwy. 19 North, Hudson.
