I have some very fond memories of my father-in-law, Jim Haley! He was well spoken and well read. He was definitely a hard-headed man, but that's what comes with being a Master Sergeant in the US Air Force. He loved his family, his country and his golf...and not necessarily in that order. Gosh, that man loved his golf! And he loved his girls (Marilyn, Lucy and Cathy). Yes, he would do anything for his girls and he proved that over and over again.
