Edward "Ed" Louis Sanders' Obituary
Edward “Ed” Louis Sanders, of Winter Garden, Fl. (formerly of New Port Richey, Fl.) went to be with the Lord on November 4, 2015. A native of Long Island, NY born to Louis A. and Edith L. (Wessner) Sanders. Ed’s family later moved to the New Port Richey area in his younger years, he graduated from Gulf High School in 1986. He served 6 years in the U.S. Air Force at Tyndall Air Force Base, and later Graduated in 1997 from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Information Management. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the V.F.W. and he was an avid New York Yankee’s fan. Ed was a loving son and devoted father, who at all costs wanted to spend as much time with his children as possible. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; 3 sons, Tyler, Nicholas, Alec and 2 daughters, Tara Lynn and Tiffany all of Winter Garden, Fl.; Parents, Louis A. and Edith Sanders of New Port Richey, Fl.; sister, Cheryl Lach and husband Mike of Hudson, Fl. A Celebration of Ed’s Life will be held Friday, November 13, 2015 6:00 PM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home Pastor Jerry Milner of First United Methodist Church of Hudson officiating, a reception will follow at the funeral home. The Family will receive friends starting at 5:00 PM.
