- [ ] My deepest sympathy to Dee’s family. This tragic news deeply touched my heart. Dee was such a positive influence to me and others with her caring ways. I recall Dee asking me to join her in a practice session with her ballroom dancing instructor. The goal was to learn a Jive dance for an energetic start to a company annual meeting. We practiced a few more times in a large conference room where I was humbled by her talent. We ended up nailing our “Jump, Jive and Wail” routine and the response exceeded our expectations. Dee made me look good in many ways, and that is a reflection of how classy she was. She was a fantastic writer, and the pride she took in her profession was contagious. She taught her team and taught me how to say more using less words. That is an art, and Dee was quite the artist.

Dee was my cousin and although we have always lived on opposite sides of the world, we have always kept in touch. On the few times we actually met up, she exuded such a kind and caring personality, spreading joy and laughter to all around her. She never forgot a special occasion. It was with sadness that I learned of her passing from her beautiful sister, Ingrid, and my heartfelt condolences go to Tom, Chris, Ingrid and Bevis. Xxx

Dee was not only a great friend she became like family to me. We met at Kenny and Val’s Halloween party 15 - 20 years ago. Once she moved to Hernando Beach we became walking buddies and great friends. We spent holidays together except Christmas and New Years, that was a special time for her son, sister, and
Brother-in-law. I already miss her dearly. She was so kind to all. Our flooding was a real tough time for her. She always spoke so highly of her family. Beautiful person inside and out. Will miss her a lot.

I met Dee while working at Franklin Templeton Funds in 1980/1981, and she has been a close and treasured friend ever since, sharing many wonderful memories over the years. Dee’s vivacious personality, her contagious laughter, her kindness, the Easter Birthday and Mother's Day cards she sent me every year without exception, her personal courage in difficult times, and her love for all of God’s creatures and nature are what I remember most about my dearest friend. Dan and I have been blessed beyond measure to have had Dee in our lives. She was a special light in this world.

Dee was one of my first clients when I started working as a hairdresser in 1982. She was such a a delight to have in my chair, always cheerful and she was so kind to me. Her loyalty went beyond description. She was so thoughtful, sending me cards for every occasion, making feel very special to her .She was a great friend and wise counselor, always cheering me on. I will miss her very much!
