Daniel Dean Short's Obituary
Daniel Dean “Dan” Short, 77, of Weeki Wachee, FL passed away May 14, 2022 while under the care of HPH Hospice. A native of Moweaqua, IL He came to the area in the early 1970’s after serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Dan became a certified jeweler and opened Dan-Lo Jewelers. He was active in David G. Snyder Memorial VFW Post 8681. Dan enjoyed many things in life, from his trips to Biloxi, MS and Las Vegas, NV to his love of motorcycles, fast cars and drag racing. Other memberships include the National Hot Rod Association. Survivors include his loving wife, Denise; 5 daughters, Danielle, Renee, Kristi, Nicki, and Kelly; son, Jerry; brother in life, John; 19 Grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
