We are so sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. Our condolences to the Short family. I’ve known Dan for 37 years. I met Dan when he had the Brooksville store In Brooksville. I wanted to get something special for my wife on our 1st Wedding Anniversary. I walked into the jewelry store and met Dan and told him what I wanted to do. Dan suggested I look at all these wax ring models he had. I found a love ring but it was wax. I know nothing about making jewelry and wanted to know how he did that. Well everybody that new Dan knew he was a story teller and a story teller he was. However, every story of Dan’s was a life experience of his, and I enjoyed every one of them. Well, back in the mid 80’s Dan made the Love Ring that spelled out love with a diamond. My wife still loves that ring today! Dan was a master craftsman with Jewelry and enjoyed life to it’s fullest. I will miss seeing him and listening to his life stories. Rest In Peace Dan, there are golden archways and diamonds in Heaven!!
