Beverly Gottschalk's Obituary
Beverly Marie Gottschalk, age 80, passed away peacefully on June 29th, 2025, in Spring Hill, Florida. Born on May 31st, 1945, in Walled Lake, Michigan, Beverly lived a life full of love, laughter, and resilience.
Beverly was a devoted wife to the late John Gottschalk and a loving mother to her children, Johnna and Michael. She is survived by her daughter Johnna and son-in-law Stuart, along with her cherished grandchildren Kelly and Kenny. She was also a beloved sister to Del, Debbie, Ken, Sarah, and Bill.
Professionally, Beverly built a successful career in banking, eventually rising to a leadership role in merchant services. Her work was not only a reflection of her intelligence and dedication, but also her kindness and warmth — she built relationships that lasted well beyond her career, a true testament to the impact she had on those she worked with.
In her free time, Beverly enjoyed card making, Bingo, playing cards, and cheering on her favorite teams — especially the Detroit Tigers. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and the American Businesswomen’s Association. Known for her sharp wit and great sense of humor, Beverly lit up every room she entered. She was a loyal friend, a loving mother and grandmother, and a woman who truly made life brighter for those around her.
A memorial service to celebrate Beverly’s life will be held at Grace Memorial Gardens in Hudson, FL on Friday, July 11th at 11:00 AM, with a reception to follow.
Though Beverly may be gone, her spirit lives on in the everyday joys she loved. Her family will find her in the laughter shared over a baseball game, the flash of a red cardinal outside the window, and the familiar comfort of playing cards at the table. These simple moments will now carry the beauty of her memory.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
