My most meaningful memories of my dear big sister all center around her care and concern for those less fortunate than her. The neighborhood we lived in as kids had a few children with physical and emotional disabilities that resulted in them not being accepted by other kids. My big sister would have none of that! She made sure they were welcome at our house. She included them in our games and made sure they didn't leave without something to eat. She had a thing for stray cats and dogs too. We always had several adopted pets around the house. I remember much later in our lives when we had our own kids she would have a party at her home and I would see some of the same people she welcomed to our back yard as kids. Still part of her life. My big sister taught me much by the way she lived. I am sure she is in heaven now surrounded by her loved ones and all those special friends she welcomed and cared for back then. Sis, I will always miss you in this life! Until we meet again,
Brother Bill
