Betty Lou Snook's Obituary
Betty Lou Snook, born June 25, 1935, in Rankin, Illinois, to the late Wilbur Reeder and Lola Corbly Reeder, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, Florida.
Betty Lou was a woman of quiet strength and enduring grace. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—sewing, needlepoint, and immersing herself in the pages of a good book. Her hands were rarely still, always crafting something beautiful or turning the pages of a new story.
Later in life, Betty Lou found deep fulfillment in reconnecting with her childhood community in West Lebanon, IN. The memories and friendships she rekindled brought her great comfort and joy.
She is survived by her devoted son, Robert Kim Snook, and his wife Casimiera; her cherished nephew, Wayne Reeder (Joyce); and her beloved niece, Candy Mathews.
A graveside service to honor Betty Lou’s life will be held at Grace Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, June 10 at 2:00 PM, with Reverend Edward Kellum officiating.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances to honor Betty may be made to Faith Methodist Church 12128 State Road 52, Hudson, Florida 34669.
