Betty Lou was like a second mom to me. What wonderful memories I have of her, thank you Kim for sharing her!! As a child, I hurt myself pretty bad one day flying head over heels on my bike down a gravel hill...Kim can corroborate this story cause he was with me. Anyway, Betty got me in a bathtub to try to remove all the gravel from my body before my own mom could see me. She lovingly cleaned me up, got me in some loose PJ's and I was good as new, and my mom didn't freak out too much!! Then in 2005 after both my parents died, Betty invited my sister and me to her house in Williamsport for Mother's Day weekend. We had the best time, we talked, laughed, ate and helped her do a garage sale that weekend. It was amazing and from then on that's where we spent Mother's Day weekend, again thank you to Kim and Cash for letting us share your mom. Every Mother's Day we went and hopefully it was a good memory for Betty Lou because it sure was for me.
