William Spencer Smith's Obituary
William S Smith, 96, of Hudson, Fl. Passed away May 6 2016. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 10 am at Grace Memorial, the family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A native of Jamaica, NY he came to the area in 1977 from Valley Stream, NY. Mr. Smith served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II and became a Nassau County, NY Police Officer, he retired after 32 years of service. He was Catholic and was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. William was preceded in death by his wife, Viola and son, Russell. Survivors include 4 sons, George, William, Richard and James; daughter, Patricia; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
