William K. Otsuki's Obituary
William K. Otsuki, age 91, died on Friday, January 13, 2017 in the comfort of his own home in Bayonet Point, FL. He was born in Denver, Colorado to Masaichi and Todome Otsuki and was the youngest of 8 children. After serving in the United States Army, Bill attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and became a pharmacist. His first loves were his family and golf, as he was still playing twice a week at age 91. Bill enjoyed a full life with his wife Virginia, who preceded him in death in 2007. He is survived by his daughters, Jill (Tom) Bradley, Vickie (Mark) Ballentine and Wendy Otsuki, grandchildren William (Julie) Edwards, Kelly (Jason) Bradshaw and Brent Ballentine, and great-grandchildren Maxwell and Graham Edwards, all of whom adored him and will remember him fondly. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 11:00 am at Grace Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Hudson, FL. Burial will follow immediately after at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Donations in memory of Bill can be made to Gulfside Hospice & Pasco Palliative Care.
