William "Bill" Howard Nichols Sr's Obituary
NICHOLS, William “Bill” Howard Sr., 72, of Spring Hill, passed away May 25, 2019. Bill was born in Montgomery, West Virginia and moved to the Tampa Bay area with his family as a teenager.
He was an avid outdoorsman who took full advantage of Florida’s nature. He loved fishing, boating, riding four-wheelers and dune buggies, drag racing and going mudding. Bill was a master mechanic who built his own garage from the ground up as well as several monster trucks. Bill lived life to the fullest and will be remembered by his family for his outgoing and kindhearted nature.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Penny Nichols; children, Tara Nichols-Camp, William “Billy” Nichols Jr, Tiffany Tarket, Cheryl Moore, Carol Sohn, Sherry Hart, and Tina O’Grady; mother, Margie Canterbury; siblings Keith Nichols, Becky Blanton, Joe Canterbury, and Grover Canterbury; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Arla.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, May 30th at Grace Memorial Funeral Home followed by funeral services at the funeral home on Friday, May 31st at 2 pm.
