Uncle Walter my Godfather,You will be truly missed, your kind ways and always your smile. I remember summer days at the beach in Sea Cliff, family Thanksgivings at Grandma and Grandpa's home. You had to leave early because you had to work holiday shifts. You looked so handsome in your uniform. Christmas eve at your home in Woodhaven, you always missed Santa when he arrived because you had gone out to the store. In later years after you retired, there were camping trips on the east end of Long Island and visits to your homes in Florida. I will cherish and always have these fond memories.Your loving GoddaughterJune
Rest in peace grandfather, it brings solice to know you heard YESHUA's call and felt you had reconciliation with HIM at the end of your long fruitful life. We hope to add your name next to your life partner, our grandmother, at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Island. This will be a place your great grandchildren can go to remember you both. " Ask and it will be given to you, seek. And you will find, Knock and it will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7 We hope that the door of Heaven was opened for you and that we shall see you again when our time here is finished. With love and prayers, your grandchildren and great grandchildren, Kristy, Jeff, Siena and Kyra
