Vincent Michael Taglieri, 30, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2026.
Born on December 29, 1995, in Clearwater, Florida, Vincent Michael Taglieri was known as “Vinnie” to his family and “Vince” to many of his friends. He was the beloved son of Richard Taglieri and Laurie Biby Taglieri.
From the very beginning, Vinnie brought a special energy into the lives of those around him. He had a heart of gold, a quick wit, and a contagious laugh that could brighten any room. He was wild, adventurous, and never afraid to try something new. He had a way of turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories and making people feel like they belonged.
From a young age, Vinnie was full of life and kept those around him on their toes. He had a fearless spirit and a larger-than-life personality.
Vinnie embraced life with passion and loved creating memories with the people around him. He enjoyed exploring downtown Tampa and Ybor City, riding scooters through the city, discovering new restaurants, attending concerts, going to car shows, and spending long days at air shows. He loved experiences, adventures, and sharing the things that brought him joy with others.
Vinnie had a lifelong fascination with planes and flight, a passion that was introduced to him through his mother, Laurie. Together, they shared a love of aviation that became a special part of who he was. Every year, he looked forward to attending air shows, and his love of aviation extended into gaming, where he could often be found flying his favorite Huey helicopters using his flight stick. He especially loved Vietnam-era aviation and enjoyed sharing that passion with friends.
Music was an important part of Vinnie’s life. He loved Metallica, Dimebag Darrell, Juicy J, and Wiz Khalifa, and he was always introducing friends to new songs he thought they needed to hear. He loved professional wrestling, especially Rey Mysterio, and was thrilled to meet Hulk Hogan. He was also a loyal fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins.
Those who knew Vinnie will remember him for his humor, kindness, and generous spirit. He found joy in sharing the things he loved, whether it was a new game, a favorite song, a great meal, or an unforgettable adventure. Gaming was more than a hobby for Vinnie. It was where he built lasting friendships, shared countless adventures, and created memories his friends will carry with them forever.
Vinnie was also an amazing cook and loved bringing people together through food. He had a sweet tooth for cannolis, could never pass up a good chai, and believed some of life’s best moments happened around a great meal and good conversation. He also adored his dog, Chester, who brought him comfort and companionship.
Above all else, Vinnie’s greatest joy was being a father to his daughter, Elara Taglieri. She was the light of his life, and everything he wanted was to give her the very best he could. He was incredibly proud to be her father, and his love for her was evident in everything he did.
Vinnie is survived by his daughter, Elara Taglieri; his father, Richard Taglieri; his grandmother, Dorothy Taglieri; his grandfather, Wayne Biby; his big sister, Alana (Bobby); Alexis, his cousin who was like a little sister to him; his niece and nephews, who brought him pride and joy as he watched them grow; and his large, loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended relatives. He shared a special bond with his Aunt Lynne, Uncle Brian, Uncle Mark, and Aunt Robin, who were a constant presence throughout his life and always cared for, supported, and guided him. He is also remembered by countless friends whose lives were brighter because they knew him.
He was predeceased by his mother, Laurie Biby Taglieri; his grandfather, Richard “Poppy” Taglieri; and his grandmother, Linda Biby.
Though his time here was far too short, Vinnie lived with a spirit that embraced adventure, laughter, and the people he loved most. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will continue to bring smiles through tears, whether it is a favorite song, a football game, a wrestling match, an air show, a late-night drive, or a story shared among family and friends.
His heart of gold, adventurous spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for those closest to him will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life honoring both Vinnie and his mother, Laurie, will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Phi Delta Kappa in Odessa, Florida. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate their lives, share memories, and honor the love they brought to so many.
In lieu of flowers, a trust will be established for his surviving daughter, Elara Taglieri, to support her future education. Those wishing to make a contribution may do so through Lynne (Taglieri) Grant.
