Vida Marion Iverson, age 99, of Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. A kind and compassionate soul, Vida lived a life marked by grace, quiet strength, and a deep love for reading that enriched her days and inspired those around her.
Vida was cherished by all who knew her. Her gentle spirit and thoughtful nature left a lasting impression on friends, family, and caregivers alike. She is survived by her beloved sister, Dorothy Pontes; her niece, Nancy Holbrook; her devoted caregiver, EryDania Hernandez, who was like a daughter to her; and her dear friend Patricia Smith and Patricia’s daughter, Cindy Smith, who held a special place in Vida’s heart.
A graveside service to honor Vida’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Grace Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest with love and remembrance.
Vida’s legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
