Heggaton, Timothy John's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Timothy John “Tim” Heggaton
August 22nd, 1947 – March 19th, 2026
“If you’re good, I’m good.”
Tim lived by that easy promise, and today we celebrate the beautiful life he shared with us. Born in Chicago, IL on August 22nd, 1947, he grew from a curious boy into a man known for creativity, support, optimism, and steady determination. Every step of his journey carried the warmth of a caring and compassionate gentleman who loved to brighten a room with a joke or funny story.
Service called, and Tim answered as an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force. His calm focus guided pilots safely home and reflected his determined spirit. Friends and family remember this chapter with pride.
Away from duty, Tim found joy in stamp collecting, woodworking, and treasure hunting at yard sales, flea markets, and auctions. Each hobby showed his creative eye and curious heart, always searching for the next small wonder to share. Tim’s greatest treasures were people. He shared decades of love with his late wife Barbara, and his stories now live on through his children Michael, Jenn, and Robert. He also leaves his sisters Mary and Susan while joining his parents Elsie and Tom in peaceful rest.
On March 19th, 2026, Tim passed at HCA Bayonet Point in Hudson, FL. We remember his quick humor, supportive nature, and the simple motto that summed him up: “If you’re good, I’m good.” May every bright memory of Tim encourage us to share a kind word, chase a new interest, and keep life joyful.
