After retirement she obtained her Masters’ Degree in Business Administration, also done at night while working full time days. So she enlisted as a Recruit with a High School education and retired 24 years later as a Lt COL with a College education. She was nearly 40 when she earned her BS and in te mid 50’s when she earned her MBA. A bonus o her time in the Army was meeting and marrying the Love of her life, MSgt Jack T. Quinby a wonderful union which ended after only ten years due to a sudden, fatal heart attack.
As a child she was interested in Amazon, Antarctica, the Taj Mahal and Tibet. Later in life her post-retirement traveling allowed her to visit all four places. She did not travel extensively while in the Army, her post-retirement cruises and other travel took her to most countries around the world.
