Theresa Joyce Stoutenburgh's Obituary
Theresa Joyce Stoutenburgh Theresa Joyce Stoutenburgh passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, at her home in the Timber Pines community. She was the beloved widow of George C. Stoutenburgh, with whom she shared nearly 58 years of loving marriage.
Born in the Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of Frank and Rose Chicco. Theresa, fondly known as Terrie, was retired after a dedicated career as an Office Manager at Data Con. After moving to Spring Hill in 2020, she became a devoted member of Christian Church in the Wildwood.
Terrie found joy in the simple pleasures of life—sharing meals, coffee, and laughter with her family, and spending time with her dear friends playing cards, Rummikub, and Mexican Train. Her kindness, laughter, and genuine love for others left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She is survived by her four children: Chuck, Frank, Donna, and Stephanie; her grandchildren: Garrett, Devin, Frankie, Amanda, Danielle, Cheryl, Briana, and Michael; and her great-grandchildren: Julianna, James, and Jasmine.
To celebrate Terrie’s life, her family will gather for a private dinner followed by a sunset cruise on July 2.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Always in My Heart
I always think of you.
I still call out your name.
For you are always here with me
Though things are not the same.
I think of all the love we’ve shared
Even though you’re out of sight.
I could never say goodbye to you.
I’ve only said goodnight.
Although it hurts without you,
We’re never far apart.
You will forever be with me
You are always in my heart!
