Tatsuya Kubota's Obituary
Tatsuya Kubota 70, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away at 5:28 pm Monday, December 18, 2023 at HPH Hospice in New Port Richey.
He was born March, 28, 1953 in Katsuhika-Ku Tokyo, Japan the son of the late Tsunesaku Kubota and Shizuko Tobita Kubota. He graduated from Shutoku Gakuen High School, in Tokyo Japan as a Certified Master Chef. He received his license to practice October 26, 1983, Tokyo Japan, his certificate of skills and knowledge March 31, 1984 , Japan, his License for professional Chef of Japan Cruisine March 31, 1984 and his certification and license special chef for preparation of Blow Fish November 15, 1984.
Tatsuya worked as a Master Washoku Chef in the United States at Rolling Hills Hotel & Golf Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida 1992-1997, the Ganko Sushi Bar in New Port Richey, 1998-2005. the Rangetsu of Tokyo Japanese Restaurant in Orlando, Florida 2007-2011 and then at Kazu"s Sushi Bar in New Port Richey, Florida 2011 to present.
