Steven "Steve" Robert Wagner's Obituary
Steve was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Carol (Morris) Wagner. He leaves behind his beloved husband Steve Mager and his nephew Sean Mager. He also leaves behind his brother Scott Wagner and his partner Janis Cangero, sister Deborah (Debbie Wagner) McCabe, her husband Richard (Rick) McCab, along with a plethora of nieces and nephews and their spouses and children, his grandnieces and grandnephews.

- Mark Wagner
- Lucas (Luke) Wagner and his fiancée Dezarae Nelson
- Kristina (Kristi Rodriguez) Warford and her husband Jeffrey Warford and their two boys, Ethan and Aaron
- Michael (Mike) Rodriguez and his son Quinten (Q)
- Robert (Bobby) Rodriguez, his wife Amber Rodriguez and their son Robert (Little Bob)
- Richard (Rickey) McCabe, his wife Britney McCabe and their children Olivia and Camryn
- Victoria (Tori McCabe) Via, and her husband Jeremy Via and their children Lincoln and Lilly
Steve also leaves behind many other family members, blood and chosen! These special friends and special coworkers who became his chosen extended family members over the many years that he knew and loved them. Hopefully you all know who you are and how much Steve loved you all.
- Steve graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens New York in 1981 and attended St. John’s University in Queens New York from 1981 thru 1983.
- Steve was an Executive Travel Consultant for Protravel International, an independent agent with his own Swagger Travel and Ventures business, which he had done for the past 41 years.
The Steve’s, (Steven Wagner and his loving husband Steve Mager), moved from Brooklyn, NY to New Jersey and eventually in 2016 to Spring Hill, Florida. They moved here to help care for Steve’s aging parents and be closer to some of their blood and other chosen family members.
- Steve had many diverse interests in, Music, Theater, Movies, Animals, Food, His Home and many more but mostly his interests centered around his husband Steve and their children, (dachshund dogs).
- Steve never wanted people to cry at a funeral service for him. So, we won’t!
- Some time in the future we will have a celebration of life, and a life well lived, we will send you all the details when we do!
- Steve was a wonderful Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Great-Uncle, Friend and Extended Family member to so many, he will be lovingly remembered and missed!
