Stephen Timothy Moran's Obituary
Celebrating the Steadfast Life of Stephen Timothy Moran
July 22nd, 1962 – July 9th, 2026 “Using his sense of direction and routine to navigate his life.” Stephen Timothy “Steve” Moran, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, shaped every day with resilience, determination, hard work, support, and loyalty. Friends and relatives knew that his steady habits—camping trips, building bonfires, and even his regular visits to Walmart—were more than routines; they were acts of care that brought people together. Steve’s love for outdoor activities anchored many gatherings. A well-built campfire or a planned hike became his way of making space for conversation, friendship, and shared problem-solving. Family remained at the heart of Steve’s world. He was a proud father to Stephen, Christopher, and Cynthia; a brother to Michelle, Susanne, Mark, Matt, Paul, Lisa, Yvette, and Brian; and he carried memories of his late parents Mike and Annamae and brother Bob , along with his late wife Mary. Each of them experienced his steadfast support first-hand. Steve died at Lake Haven Assisted Living in Dunedin, Florida. His guiding sense of direction—both literal and personal—continues to inspire everyone who learned from his example of showing up and following through. Those who loved Steve will remember him by tending a campfire, honoring a daily habit done well, or simply taking a moment to lend steady help to someone nearby. In these simple, reliable acts, Steve’s legacy lives on. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM, Friday, July 17, 2026 at Grace Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home in Hudson, Florida.
