Shirley Ann Lancaster's Obituary
Shirley Ann Lancaster, 83, of Homosassa passed away on December 27, 2022. She was born November 2, 1939 to the late Elmer and Hazel Samuel in South Bend, Indiana. She was of the Christian faith, and attended Northcliffe Baptist Church. She was an animal lover, who adored her dogs Popcorn and Kayce and her parrot Corky.
She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Lancaster; siblings Joyce, Betty, Larry, Linda, Tommy, and Karen; grandchild Gina, and son-in-law Ronald.
She is survived by daughter Melissa Arlen of Homosassa; son Robert and his wife Sandra of Tonto Basin, Arizona; daughter Janell Lancaster of Gainesville; sisters Maribelle, Trudy, Judy, Marsha, Carol, Sharon, and Louise; brother Ronnie; grandchildren Jason and his wife Nou; Jesse and his wife Andrea; Robert Lancaster, Jr and his wife Danielle; Ron Matthis, Mark Matthis, Lorelei Marshall and her husband Kurtis; Chrissy, Sherry and her husband Adrian; Ricky, Sarah, Al, Angela and Kelly; great-grandchildren Rayshawn, David, Kaylee, Connor, Robert Lancaster, III, Taylor, Jasmine, Jamie, Adriana, Musica, Sophia, Helijah, Tony, Mason, Harper, Hazel, Mya, John, Aaliyah, Lyala, Ayden, Mariah, Carter, Scarlet, Emily, Vincent, Oceana, and Forshay.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 4 at 10:30 AM, followed by interment at Florida National Cemetery.
