Shirley H. Bosserman
Our beloved mother Shirley H. Bosserman 82, of Hudson, FL passed away peacefully to be with the Lord October 5th, 2019. Shirley was born to George and Beulah Horsley of Fieldale, Virginia.
She graduated from Ferrum Jr. Collage 1958 and earned her “Bachelors of Music Education” from Madison College 1960. She was a cherished and beloved music teacher for children kindergarten through fifth grade for 30 years. Teaching in Fairfax County Virginia for 10 years then moving to Greenville SC for 20 years and retired to Florida to be with her family for the past 20 years.
She had a love for birds especially “Georgia Boy” he gave her so much joy. She was loved by all that met her and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her sister Georgia Mae McMullan of Lincolnton, NC and two daughters Lisa G Brown of Edmonds, WA, Teresa C. Emmons of Hudson, FL and a son John G. Bosserman III of Clearwater, FL. She was a grandmother of four granddaughters and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at later date at Roselawn in Martinsville, Virginia
