Sharon Lee Sinift's Obituary
Sharon (Secord) Sinift of Zephyrhills, Florida, died on December 6, 2023 at the age of 80 years old after complications with aortic aneurysms. Sharon was born in Pontiac, MI on June 6, 1943 to Alton “Pete” and Shirley Secord. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Wilbur Sinift.
Sharon is survived by her siblings, Dawn Jones (Tim), Randy Secord (Patricia), Cheryl Omell (Dennis), Anna Anderson (Ian), as well as her children: Sherry Sinift (Jim Przygocki), Timmy Sinift (Sigrun-D), Susie Sinift, Tracie Hawke Dingman (Ron-D), Trisha Messer (Loyd), and Thomas Hawke (Angela), and finally her 18 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
An artist at heart, Sharon spent a lot of time crafting, painting, and designing dolls. She loved to travel and took many cruises along with long motorcycle road trips taking her across the country. She enjoyed time with family and most of it was spent playing competitive yard games and cards. She will be most remembered for her contagious laugh and love for others, but especially her dedication and unconditional love for her family.
Sharon was actively involved in her church and was rededicated to the Lord and baptized again recently. Her favorite song was, “This Little Light of Mine” and her favorite scripture was, Jer 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
A celebration of life will be held at New Walk Church of Zephyrhills, Saturday, January 13 at 10am. During the summer of 2024 a graveside service will be held in MI. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation be made to the American Heart Association.
