Sharon Lee Jensen's Obituary
Sharon Lee Jensen, 65, of Brooksville, FL, passed away in Dayton, Ohio, on December 8, 2023.
Sharon’s roots ran deep in Florida. She was born in St. Pete, FL, to the Prine family, who proudly helped found Kathleen, FL. Sharon attended the same high school as her father and delivered her only child in the same hospital she was born in. Sharon deeply adored her family and, despite not wanting to leave Florida, traveled and lived in different states to be with her daughter and grandchildren.
Sharon was a college graduate with a degree in accounting, which she was very proud of. Her profession was in Accounts Receivable, which she retired from to care for her ailing mother.
Sharon loved the Lord with all of her heart, was Baptist by faith, formerly taught Sunday School and wanted to share the message of Jesus with anyone she could.
Sharon’s biggest earthly treasures were the close relationships with each of her family members. Her greatest hope for her family after her passing was for them to remain close to one another and develop lasting relationships with the Lord.
Words cannot express the amount of love her family felt for her and the agony of being without her. She will be missed every moment of every day. Her memory will be kept alive by those she loved as they pass down traditions she held near and dear to her heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, and her mother, Cynthia.
Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Norris (Joshua, MD); three brothers, Wesley Prine (Anette), Bill Prine, and Craig Prine (Debbi); two sisters, her twin, Shelley Crouch (Jim); and Lynn Duncan; her four grandchildren, Ronin, Gunnyr, Sloane and Toril; her father, and her nieces and nephews whom she felt were more like her own children.
