Sandra DuBose Morneault's Obituary
Sandra DuBose Morneault, age 82, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026. She was the widow of Donald Richard Morneault. Together, they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, devotion, and family.
She was born on March 26, 1943 in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she spent much of her life before later relocating to Crystal River, Florida in 2022 after her husband’s passing.
A devoted stay-at-home mother, Sandra’s nurturing heart extended far beyond her own children. For approximately ten years, she lovingly fostered infants, guided by strong maternal instincts and a deep compassion for children in need.
Sandra found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including playing bingo and doing word searches. She was a faithful member of Clearview United Methodist Church, where she found fellowship and spiritual comfort.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Hoffman (James), Annette Morneault-Taylor, and Donald Morneault; her ten grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Kathryn Morneault (Al) and Margaret Keith, as well as many nieces and nephews who cherished her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Morneault; her son-in-law, Robert Taylor; and her parents.
Sandra will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her boundless love for children and family, and the enduring kindness she shared with all who knew her. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of her family for generations to come.
