Rosalyn Quinones' Obituary
Rosalyn Quinones was born Rosalyn Florence Perpinan on September 6th 1938 and passed away peacefully at home in San Antonio, Florida on November 9th 2019 at the age of 81 years.
Rosalyn was born in Brooklyn, NY daughter to Mary Higgins and Rafael Perpinan. She was one of thirteen children. She grew up in Brooklyn and went to Eastern District High School and graduated in 1956. In 1957 she married Humberto Quinones and had three children.
Rosalyn was a pastor for many years as well as an educator. In 1983 Rosalyn moved to Humacao, Puerto Rico and continued to pastor along with her husband, Humberto until his passing. In 1998 she married Pedro Santiago with whom she shared her life until her passing.
Rosalyn and Pedro moved to Spring Hill, FL in 2012 and then to San Antonio, FL, here she touched so many new lives with her love and generosity.
Rosalyn loved life, animals, cooking and above all singing praises to the Lord. She also loved to travel especially when she was driving. She was famous for her fabulous cooking like lasagna, pumpkin bread, and Puerto Rican cuisine. She enjoyed her friends and family immensely. She is survived by her husband Pedro Santiago; her three children Humberto Quinones, Lisa Rose Oriol, and Rebecca Quinones; her sisters Velma Vega and Mary Ann Perpinan; her 4 grandchildren Lissette Oriol, Raquel Oriol, Katie Oriol and Jessica Quinones; and her great grandchildren Anthony Salaman, Andrew Salaman, Angelina Ramirez and Xavier Melendez.
WE celebrate a life that was full of fun, laughter and song. She loved the Lord Almighty with all her heart, always sang his praises and is now celebrating in his peace and grace.

A Gathering will be held at 2pm-4pm on Sunday November 24th, 2019 at Grace Memorial Funeral Home, 16931 U.S. Hwy. 19 North, Hudson with a Memorial Service at 3PM at Grace Memorial Funeral Home
