Roger Lee Wilhelm's Obituary
Mr. Roger Lee Wilhelm, 78, of Spring Hill passed away on April 3, 2023. He was born February 7, 1945 in Chester, Pennsylvania to the late Kenneth and Anna Mae Wilhelm. Roger dutifully served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service, Roger proudly served as a police officer among many other vocations. He lived in Brookhaven, Pennsylvania and Boothwyn, Pennsylvania before he retired to Florida in 2008. Roger was a member of the VFW, the FOP and he supported many Veteran and Police Organizations. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, dinners at Red Lobster, watching Westerns and Professional Wrestling. He was super handy and there wasn’t a thing that he couldn’t fix. He was a true Jack of all trades. Roger is preceded in his death by his parents, siblings; Kenneth Wilhelm, Jr., Cheryl Neide, Kathleen Wilhelm, and son-in-law, Frank Lombardo. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ethel; son Roger Wilhelm, Jr.; daughter Michelle Lombardo; daughter Donna McDaniel (Jim); daughter Shannon Glowitz (Guy); sister Patricia Pannier (Donnie) and grandchildren Blake, Sarah Mackenzie, Sean, Sarah Jane, Guy Jr., Mason, Levi, and Easton. Roger will be interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at a later date.
