Betty I am so sorry for your loss. As you know some how down the line Rodger and I were connected distant relatives by marriage. Rodger was a great friend to me personally and professionally. He was a tireless supporter in my bid for office and stood ready to help in anyway. He will be missed in so many ways.

I want to share a funny story on how I met Roger Lambert. Where do I start!! About 8 or 9 years ago, I hear someone one knocking on my front door, I open the door and there is Roger< He said Hi my Name is Roger Lambert and I am looking for Edwin. You see Edwin (now my Ex husband) bought a farm tractor from Roger, he gave Roger half the money down and a bad check for 2500.00. You see Roger was such a nice guy that he took a bad check from someone he did not know and a man that was Manic crazy at the time that was just let out of the mental institution a few weeks prior.
My house was trashed at the time, because Edwin was in the Mental Institution again after he trashed the House. So when Roger introduced himself he looked a little scared and confused with all the Puerto Rican Drama on Puerto Rican soil. (LOL)
I invited Roger In so i can tell him my story and he listened scratching his head thinking I was crazy too!!
To make a long story short, Roger worked with me to pay the tractor on payments.
Roger and Betty from there on became great friends and i love them very much.
You see, if you want to meet someone that gives from the heart not expecting any in return. Roger always had a smile on his face, joking around and said crazy things and made you laugh!! Over the years Roger and Betty always helped me when i was down going to trials and tribulations myself. Words cannot explain how wonderful Roger was and he will always be in my heart and remembered. A big teddy bear that was a bundle of joy to be around. A True friend that you can rely on!!
I love you Roger and thank you for the years that I got to know you, where ever you are!

Although it's only been a few short years I've known Roger, I just wanted to send my deepest sympathy out to his wonderful family. Roger has and always will be a great man and will always be remembered..
