Roberto "Bobby" Moran's Obituary
Roberto “Bobby” Moran, 70, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Sturgill Care Center in Spring Hill, Florida.
Born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Calumet Park, Illinois in 1960. He was the son of the late Richard D. Moran and Carmen (Valdez) Moran and younger brother of the late Angela {Moran) O’Connor. Bobby attended Burr-Oak and Calumet Park Public School where he graduated in 1968. Bobby attended Dwight Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, Illinois. Bobby worked for a few different companies and corporations until taking a position for the Rock Island Railroad as a Track Man and Union Representative.
In his free time, Bobby enjoyed being with family, reading, drawing and painting, and being outdoors. He loved animals, especially dogs.
Bobby was a beer man and would enjoy a nice cold beer
He is survived by his daughter, Victoria; his brothers, Joey and Rich; his sisters: Ruby, Carmen, and Juana; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great great nieces, and great great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you raise a bottle, or can, of beer and make a toast in his memory
