Robert Shaffer's Obituary
Robert Shaffer, 89, of Hudson, Florida passed away Saturday October 15, 2022 at Heather Hill Healthcare Center in New Port Richey, Florida.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania he was born July 6, 1933 the son of the late Charles J Safar and Helen E. Farkas. He worked 38 years for the Westinghouse Corporation as a draftsman in the field of Nuclear Design. There are six patents attributed to his name.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Chucky Shaffer.
He is survived by his son Robert C. Shaffer and his wife Kimberly E. Shaffer, grandchildren Caryn E. Shaffer and Bryan C. Shaffer; and son Darrell J. Shaffer and his wife Elisa Shaffer and grandchildren Christopher M. Shaffer and Victoria M. Shaffer; and brother Raymond Shaffer and his wife Andrea Shaffer.
Arrangements are in the care of Grace Memorial Funeral Home.
