Robert E. Rose's Obituary
Robert E. Rose, 90, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012. Bob was born in Grand Haven, Michigan to Myron and Alice Rose. He was married to Lenore Rose until her death in 2009. He served in the Army during WW II receiving the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He worked for Michigan Bell Telephone his entire career and was a member of the AT&T Bell Telephone Pioneers and many clubs. Bob generously expressed his love for family and friends. He had a passion for the outdoors and volunteered for church, Boy Scouts, Association for Retarded Children, African Missions, National Audubon Society, Talking Books and many other organizations. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. Survived by sons Willard Rose (Lindy); David Rose; daughters Roberta Wandel (Carl); Janet Kowchuck (David); sister Helen Van Oordt; brother Paul Rose; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be at Grace Presbyterian Church where he was a member, 8375 Spring Hill Dr. Spring Hill FL at 11:00 am, October 25 2012.
