Robert Carl "Cowboy" Reutti's Obituary
Robert Carl "Cowboy" Reutti, 75, of Spring Hill passed away on February 13, 2023. He was born
November 4, 1947 to the late Robert and Dorothy Reutti in Baltimore, Maryland. Bob was a yacht builder at Astor Marina in Tampa for over a decade. He was activist, fighting for causes to better his community and make a better life for his family. He was a proud Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam war. In 2004, he moved to Spring Hill, where he met his fiancé' Mary. He was deeply loved by his family, and adored by his daughter Deborah "Dinky". He served on the Board of Directors at Windward Village, and never stopped helping others. Bob was a perfectionist, "If you can't do it right, don't do it at all." From washing recycling to rolling extension cords, there was a proper way to do everything.
He thoroughly enjoyed his family. His grandchildren were his greatest joy, and he loved his pets Jezebelle and Slip, and his horses.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary's son Justin, sister Suzanne; grandchildren TaraNicole and Baby K.
He is survived by his fiancé Mary Mangold; brother Richard Reutti; daughter Deborah Stewart and her husband Dan; daughter Kerrie Jones; adopted daughter Amy Schaediger; Mary's son Thomas and his wife Ginna, Mary's son Christian and his wife Jagmu; grandchildren Robert, Tracy, Renee, Katelyn, Devyn, Lorissa, Daniel Jr, Nickolas, Michael III, Austin, Cheston, Zane, Autumn, Kierstin, Toby Sean, Reese, Morgan, Kendell, Justin and Yangzen; great-children Jalissa, London, Lyric, Lennox, Jay'Den, Christian, Trinity, Laila, Bryce, Ezra, Daniel III, Kieran, Julian Theodore, and two on the way.
