Robert James Ottone's Obituary
OTTONE, Robert James, "Rob", 61 passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2022. Rob was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania to Silvio and Joyce Ottone (both deceased).
He attended Henderson High School in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and was an Air Force Veteran. He received a BA degree from Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Widner University (summa cum laude), Chester, Pennsylvania.
Rob devoted his life to public service. Much of his career was dedicated to working in health care as a Tribal Administrator in California, Oregon, Alaska, and Nevada. It was in this venue that he made his most far-reaching impact.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Nancy Ottone Haynsworth (Richard) and Lee Ottone Lenius (Bret-deceased), 1 brother, Steven Ottone (Janet), and close friend, Lorraine Prisbrey, 4 nephews, 2 nieces, and a great nephew.
While Rob was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, a life-long Philadelphia Eagles fan, and a music lover in a wide variety of genres, his biggest influence was in the community. He never met a stranger, always had time for everyone, and never failed to make people feel special.
Rob was a loving, giving, and caring person. That evidence is the deep sorrow and pain in our hearts that his family feels from his passing.
