Robert L Kelly's Obituary
Robert L. Kelly of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the age of 85. Robert was born in Franklin Square, long Island, New York and grew up in Plainfield, New Jersey. He enlisted with the Army Air Corps right out of high school and was stationed in the Philippines as a Link Trainer Instructor. When Robert returned to New Jersey he worked as a printer for the Art Color Printing Company and then as a Financial Printer in the Financial District of New York City. In 1991, Robert relocated to Florida with his loving wife of 57 years, Trudy, who survives him as well as his two sons, Robert L. Kelly II and wife Mitra, and Steven L. Kelly; and numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was a life long member of the VFW, the ITU (International Typographical Union) and several bowling leagues in New Jersey as well as Florida. He was also an avid reader, HO model railroad enthusiast, and car buff. Robert was a wonderful man who will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
