Rita M. O’Connor, 93, of Port Richey, Fl. passed away on June 16 2017 at home while under the care of her loving family. A native of Pontiac, MI she came to the area in 1975. Rita was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady Queen of Read Obituary
I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Rita beginning on Tubbs Road to Waterford and Florida. We are all so lucky to have had her as a special part of our lives, the Sundays we spent together growing up we're filled with smiles and laughter. I know she is in heaven as well as our hearts. We' had the honor of working with Rita at SOLVE . She was an angel who reached out to help many, many families to care for their children. Rest in Peace dear Rita.
On behalf of the board members and volunteers at SOLVE, we extend our deepest sympathies to Rita's family. Rita saw a need in our community and was instrumental in starting SOLVE in 1976. She was truly a great woman and will be missed by many.
