It is with deep love and remembrance that we announce the passing of Richard Henry Zimmerman, who departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the age of 99. He was under the compassionate care of Merliere Care Center in New Port Richey, Florida.
Born in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Richard was the cherished son of the late Dwight and Mary Zimmerman. Throughout his long and meaningful life, Richard was known for his quiet strength, gentle spirit, and unwavering kindness. He lived with grace and humility, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Richard’s journey took him from the rolling hills of Pennsylvania to the sunny shores of Florida, where he spent his later years surrounded by warmth and community. His legacy is one of resilience, compassion, and a life well-lived.
Richard will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by friends, caregivers, and all whose lives he touched.
