Richard "Rich" Steinheiser's Obituary
Richard “Rich” George Steinheiser, 85, of Brooksville FL passed away at home April 23, 2020 while under the care of his loving family. He was a native of McAdoo, Pa and came to the area in 2017 from the Philadelphia area. He served his Country in the U.S. Navy and later retired from SEPTA after 32 years of service. Rich was considered “The home improvement advisor” to all his children. But his grandchildren just called him “Fix It Pop-Pop” He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather, but also a Philadelphia Eagles fan.
He was preceded in death by his brother Donald and 2 sisters, Arlene Yoder and Dorothy Fogarty; and great-grandchild, Michael.
Survivors include his 2 daughters, Kathleen and Mary; 3 sons, George, Patrick and Joseph and wife Jamie; his former wife, mother of his children and friend, Kathleen Boyle; 10 Grandchildren, Traci, Joseph, Erik, Jeffery, Michael, Zachary, Jordyn, Matthew, Chloe, and Melissa. 5 great-grandchildren, Braeden, Jovan, Keiran, Grayson, and Declan; many nieces and nephews
Interment services will take place at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, located in Upper Makefield Township, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Where Navy Funeral Honors will be conducted to Honor his service.
