Commerce Bank.(German Bank) I Remember Richard coming to pick you up at 5 PM everyday to take you home from work...You both were young & so wonderful together , and loving I knew he was your forever soul mate. I just recently found out the very sad news of my cousin Rich's passing. He was fondly remembered as "THE DUCK", a name given to him by his dad, my uncle Anthony. I remember many great memories of Richard as we grew up close to each other. Our family ties were deep until we all grew up and unfortunately drifted to our new lives and away. But, I never forgot all those fun times with him , his brother Billy and his loving fun parents. I will never forget them or Richard, "THE DUCK". Forever in my heart, prayers and memories. We have known Richard for close to 40 years since he married my dear cousin, Kathy and we will fondly remember the many family times we shared over the years. Although we were miles away the last few years we are happy that Richard and Kathy could enjoy warm and sunny Florida and have time to spend with their beautiful family, Vicki, Luke, Brielle, and Trent.
We were reminiscing about our trips to Puerto Rico and Key West enjoying the beach, pool, dinners and the Cadillac car ride through the Keys. Richard kept us laughing and reminded us how to relax!
We also remember some cold times in Staten Island when we tried the Spagnola new enclosed hot tub decked out with the music, lights and icy fogged up windows! That was a special and fun New Years Eve.
We enjoyed seeing the family photos of Richard's wonderful life as a beloved husband, father, and grandfather and are remembering Richard as a special part of our family.
With deep sympathy, Mark and I will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

My heart still hurts for my best friend and my second family. I am so lucky to have the hilarious and wonderful memories from my childhood and adulthood with one of my favorite guys!!! I love you Rich and you will be dearly missed!!!
I first me Richard in 1973 we were teenagers working at Nedicks restaurant on forest avenue in Staten Island, New York. We stayed good friends and have shared many vacations, holidays and dinners together. Kathy, Victoria and Luke you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I met Richard twenty six years ago through Kathy when we first became friends.,I remember meeting Richard for the first time,.here stood this bear of a man ,with a gentle spirit.. Dear Kathy, Victoria, Luke, Brielle and Trent......there are no words to express how saddened I am by the loss of the fabulous man you had the privilege to call Husband, Dad, Father-in-law and Papa. He was just a gentle giant and I love how he loved my daughter. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Wish I could be there to hug you all in person but know you are being hugged in my heart.
