Richard P. Lorentsen's Obituary
Richard P. Lorentsen, 74, of Spring Hill, Fl. passed away August 24, 2015. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 AM at Faith Baptist Church of Spring Hill, 175 Springtime Street, Spring Hill, FL, 34608. The Family will receive friends at the Church Thursday evening from 6-8 PM. A native of Brooklyn, NY he came to the area in 1989 from Long Island, NY after retiring from the City of New York Dept. of Parks with over 30 years of service. Richard was an avid equestrian and love all animals especially his two beloved companion dogs “Georgia & Tootsie”. He also was an active member of Faith Baptist Church of Spring Hill, where he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by 3 sons, Kenneth Smith, Richard Lorentsen, Jr. and David Lorentsen; 1 daughter, Grace Emily Lorentsen. He leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years Arlene; son, Larry Lorentsen and wife Missy of Port Richey, FL; 3 daughters, Lorie Lorentsen of Port Richey, Fl. Wendy Landers of Spring Hill, Fl. and Felicia Garcia of Spring Hill, Fl.; 2 daughters in-law, Cheryl Lorentsen of New Port Richey, Fl. and Tracie Lorentsen of Long Island, NY; and 49 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and still counting. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Baptist Church of Spring Hill, 175 Springtime Street
