Richard C. Krug's Obituary
Richard Charles Krug, 83, of Hudson, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Bayonet Point Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Richard was the cherished son of the late John and Georgiana Krug. He grew up with a strong sense of family and values that guided him throughout his life. Richard was known for his quiet strength, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, John Krug, Tommy Krug, and Agnes Johnson, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and deep familial bonds.
Richard leaves behind his beloved wife, Gerri Krug, with whom he shared many years of love, laughter, and partnership. He was a proud and devoted father to his sons, Rick Krug (Marcella) and Joe Krug (Joey Scott), and a loving grandfather to Tyler Krug, Michaela Krug Braswell (Joshua), and Jennifer Duff (Alex). His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren, Tessa and Alexus, who brought him immense joy and pride.
Richard’s life was marked by his deep love for his family, his strong work ethic, and his kind and steady presence. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his wisdom, and the quiet way he made everyone around him feel valued and loved.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Grace Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Grace Memorial Gardens.
Richard’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
