Our son, Wade Bercaw, has been friends with Ricky for many years. Every time Harold would come down to visit, the three of them would get together. They made lots of memories. It is very difficult when you lose someone too early. I was quite a bit older than Ricky when I first met him on the track many years ago. When he was a up and coming teenager, he ran over me during practice, afterwards I threatened him pretty harshly. Later we laughed about it and have been friends ever since. We got to go Loretta’s the same year when I was 40+ and he was 30+. I will miss him greatly.
