Richard Foley's Obituary
Richard Foley of Hudson, Florida passed away peacefully in his sleep after a yearlong battle with COPD under the care of hospice. He was recently retired from the Pasco County School System where he was a master carpenter.
Richard was born in Flushing, NY, the third son of John & Carol Foley. He grew up in Freeport, NY where he graduated from Freeport High School. He relocated to Hudson, Fl where he lived until his death.
Richard was not married but leaves behind his brothers Tom & Jack, sister in laws Gina & Donna, nieces Renee, Shannon and Carol and nephew Sean. He was an avid sportsman and boater. He loved duck hunting and boating with his dogs. Richard also enjoyed riding off-road motorcycles for fun and competition. He was generous to a fault and doted on his nieces and nephew.
Richard was a great son, brother and uncle. He was loved by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
It was Richards’s desire was that his ashes be spread in the Gulf of Mexico he loved so much along with his beloved dogs. A memorial service will be held in the Spring of 2020.
