What a loss to family and friends, a devoted father, advisor and supporter of everyone he knew. I'll remember Richard best from our political discussions and the influence he had on my decisions when voting. He was a great friend and excellent advisor to contact when making decisions. Richard was one of the Ray's best supporters and influenced me to attend more games some of which we enjoyed together. He will be missed - Brian Lowe
Richard Blustein, my ex-coworker from Coca-Cola in Hollywood,FL. My lunch time buddy, my ride when my car broke down, my political piece, my Baseball Fanatic, my Jewish friend, my traveling coach, my real estate advisor, and last but not least, My Brother.......May you Rest In Peace.
We both supported the same political party, and I am not a baseball fan, but, did possess the patience to endure.
Strange coincidence, Richard was born on the same day as my daughter (May 16th) and passed on April 22nd (our Wedding Anniversary). Last time we met was at his famous Chinese Restaurant in Palm Beach six years ago. We will forever cherish those Memories. Susan, Liza and Carly (& spouse)....may God give you that strength to endure.
Richard and I became good friends while at Springstead High School. I was blessed to have him as my co-teacher in English. I can still remember the wonderful conversations about his goal to visit every baseball stadium in the country. And as best as I can remember he accomplished his goal with the help of his daughters who would often go with him. He was always a joyful and full of knowledge which he shared with myself and all of our classes together. I will miss him, but I will see him again with the Lord. I'm sure
they will have baseball in Heaven.

So sad to hear this news. I worked with Richard at Springstead. He was such a genuinely nice person and caring teacher who worked tirelessly with his students. He helped me when I was new and always had interesting stories to tell. Prayers and thoughts for his family.
